Courtney Hearn
Physical Therapist Assistant
I graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a bachelor’s in science and an emphasis in health promotion studies. After my undergrad, I worked as a personal trainer while attending physical therapy assistant school and graduated from PTA school in 2018.
I was an ACSM-certified personal trainer before I went to physical therapy assistant school. Since graduating from PTA school, I have worked in outpatient physical therapy settings specializing in orthopedics.

What do you do for the company?
I guide patients through their rehabilitation programs with a focus on helping them achieve their goals. My interest in running has led me to pursue continuing education in runner rehabilitation, which I incorporate into treatment plans for this population.
Something patients have to deal with that you want to fix?
I enjoy helping patients achieve their goals after an injury and helping them realize they are stronger and more capable than they think.
Conditions You Enjoy Treating
I enjoy treating all sorts of orthopedic injuries, from minor strains to post-operative surgeries. I especially enjoy working with each patient to help them regain the strength and confidence to get back to what they enjoy doing.
What do you like about working here?
I love working at Next Level Physical Therapy because of the positive atmosphere and supportive environment. We truly work as a team to support our patients and help them reach their goals.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, strength training, spending time outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
